Luttsy: What's the story?
Submitted by debritz on December 15, 2008 - 07:40.
| Is Luttsy leaving? Is this the beginning of the end for the Nova 1069 breakfast show? Does this dovetail with the rumour reported at this blog a while ago that the whole team is ready to move on to other things? Update: According to the well-known expert commentator "Anonymous", Luttsy is joining 4BC. It would certainly make for a very strong breakfast program if Luttsy were slotted in a sporting role alongside Jamie Dunn and his transplanted team from Zinc. |

Brett, some notes: Eddie
Brett, some notes:
Eddie McGuire is doing a pilot for a 5:30 program, similar to Extra - http://www.news.com.au/dailytelegraph/story/0,22049,24798835-5001021,00....
Jessica Rowe leaves 7 - http://www.news.com.au/dailytelegraph/story/0,22049,24798723-5006002,00....
I think the Eddie one is
I think the Eddie one is the one Karl Stefanovic was briefly attached to. Now he allegedly wants to do ACA.
Nothing wrong with giving
Nothing wrong with giving radio a break, nobody wants to hear the same people all the time. Good luck to him pursuing 'other interests'.
I've heard that David is
I've heard that David is going to 4BC, will be interesting to see if that's correct.
I wouldn't be surprised.
Really Brett? I am starting
Really Brett? I am starting to think 4BC might be the station to listen to in 09. Where does 4BC rate for breakfast now? I would always swing between 4BC or MMM, but I think I prefer the 4BC breakfast line up. Luttsy would do well anywhere.
4BC targeting a younger
4BC targeting a younger audience? Are pigs flying, Brett?
Translation: 4BC ciblage d'une audience plus jeune? Les cochons volent-ils, Brett?
If pigs were flying, Deal wouldn't be on in QLD...
I think if BC is to grow,
I think if BC is to grow, it needs to reach in both directions: shore up the 60-plus audience and reach into the 40somethings. Jamie Dunn and Luttsy (if the rumour is true) may well do that for them. Oh, and they might grab some of the even-younger tradies and cabbies back from MMM too if they are clever. It all rests on whether Dunn an co. can become Brisbane's answer to 2GB's Alan Jones or 3AW's Ross Stevenson and John Burns.
I notice the new
