After 10 women auditioned, former Nova 106.9 announcer (and couriermail.com.au blogger) Emily Jade O'Keeffe will be named to replace Sami Lukis on Triple M Brisbane's The Cage breakfast show. In a media release, Triple M boss Richard Barkers says:

(Besides I think I just heard Luttsy faint. Being up against Dunn's one thing, but up against a former co-worker, that really would put Nova in a spin...)
What about Lukis's other "frankful, wholesome position" aka 9's weather, any updates on Schluter replacement #4, Brett?

What a joke. She was the least interesting of all of them. I think MMM have made a huge mistake as Brisbane is already tired of her and her attention seeking antics.

I'm not sure how this makes me feel... I quite like her as a stand alone announcer, but can't see her working in as a part of an established team.
Not sure how she'll go with the M's audience either. But she is a great talent and I hope it goes well for her and the station.

I heard the new breakfast girl for 4bc, Courtney I think, the other night. I think she may be one to listen to- many varied and interesting life experiences behind her, and no ego there.

Courtney the girl with Jamie & Ian is awesome. Shes a genuine person with no ego or arrogance. Just a genuine person thats great to listen and talk to.

I'm too out of the loop, which is why this site is closed (debritz.net is still going) - but I will say that boning John Schluter was the worst decision Nine ever made. It opened the doors for Seven's revival.
