Ross Davie quits 4BC

| 4BC breakfast co-host Ross Davie has quit. According to a media release, he will leave on Friday, October 17 to concentrate on his advertising agency, Ross Davie Advertising. In the statement, 4BC general manager David McDonald said: "Ross Davie has contributed much, and been an important part of the success of 1116 4BC in recent years and his efforts have been greatly appreciated.” He said he completely understood Davies' decision based on his commitment to his family and their business. McDonald has dismissed this blog's reporting of rumours that former B105 star Jamie Dunn will be joining 4BC next year, but today's statement does nothing to quell that speculation. It does, however, say that an announcement on the "new breakfast line-up" is expected soon. So, will Peter Dick (pictured, at right on right, with Davie) remain in the slot with another co-host, or will there be wholesale change? |  |

I think the odds of Dunn coming to 4BC has just shortened Brett, also don't forget the wildcard, 4BC's "prodigal son" from the 80's Wayne "Waynee Poo" Roberts who just left River-94.9...

Wayne Roberts and Jamie Dunn to spearhead a new breakfast show starting next year ? The problem would be,who could stop them from trying to kill each other on a weekly basis ? It would be wonderful listening though !

It's funny, someone said that to me two months after I started at the ABC in 1993. I had declined his offer of a commercial TV job. He knew I'd say no because I was "career ABC"! Proudly so, so far, but never going to rule anything out down the track. Cheers, Spencer.
Whilst Ross Davie annoyed me
Whilst Ross Davie annoyed me greatly, he did have a bit of talent, especially with a little comedy which you dont really want all of the time per say, however Dunns return is misguided, nice bloke, but passed his used by date and his Noosa broadcast team will fail to impact on a major metropolitan market

please let me know where the poo is and if he will ever be heard of again.i found wayne roberts again after go knows how long after 4bc ,only to have him gone from river 9.49 3 months after seeing his melon on an ipswich taxi. im a truck driver and miss the fun. now that peter dick is gone from breakfast what am i going to do? jamie dunne will be fun but i need poo or dick,simple. please get back to me,regards rick

Wayne Roberts has left the building and, according to my sources, he won't be back on the air anywhere. But, as Jamie Dunn's comeback shows, things can change in radio land ...
Would love to know where or
Would love to know where or when Wayne "poo" Roberts is or if he will coming back. Radio isn't the same without him. He did say before he left to keep listening into different stations, that he doesn't know where he is likely to pop up.
Come on Waynee Poo come back to us. Makes my morning.
