Newsreaders in the news

Blimey! Larry Mendte, 51, a TV newsreader in the US city of Philadelphia, is being investigated by the FBI for allegedly hacking into the email of his younger female co-anchor, Alycia Lane. It's claimed that Mendte, who was fired in May, logged-in to Llane's email 537 times in 146 days, and sometimes fed items gleaned from this to a newspaper gossip column. Lane, meanwhile, was also fired - "for a series of embarrassing off-camera incidents, including a scuffle with police in New York." She is suing for wrongful dismissal. You couldn't make this sort of stuff up.

I guess this incident Brett,
I guess this incident Brett, reminds me of a certain former Brisbane TV newsreader (guess who) a few years back who could not shut up about this person's rival getting the weekday newsreading slot to the point that he had someone send emails or something deriding his rival and favoring this person, which led to this person either quitting or was sacked, while this person's rival still works for that station today, doing the weekday news with the person in question's former newsreading partner at weekends at the time.

Brett, As long as you are not Pat Welsh (who is rumored to take a massive cut of his airtime thanks to the recent "Broncos contract" sized signing of Shane Webcke which will also end up costing the second most liked person in the newsroom after Welsh, Ben Davis, his job. More here- http://justadddwater.blogspot.com/2008/07/veteran-seven-sports-reporter-... ) and Talitha Cummins (who got shafted from Weekend Sunrise, with a brief mention of Joseph May, who got shafted to Extra instead of being "boned", where as Seven can only sack her or create a new opportunity for her. More at- http://justadddwater.blogspot.com/2008/07/more-like-sunset-than-sunrise-... ) everything is looking good.
But it gives a vague picture of what really makes Seven's Brisbane 6pm News tick.
But it leaves the question
But it leaves the question (which I should have put in the previous comment Brett), is Seven preparing to make major changes to its bulletin when it is #1 while adjusting gradually to life post-Kay McGrath (compared to Nine's post-Paige plans?)
It would be very brave to
