Just another example of "Americanism's" creeping in and taking over our language. I say, say it like it is. Gordon Ramsay isn't a "potty-mouth", he swears like a trooper and talks a load of crap.

I for one get very cheesed of when finding Americanism's in the Australian press. Recently I rang the offices of a very popular foodie magazine to complain about the excessive use of the words cookie, cilantro and peppers. I was told that as the magazine was very popular in the USA, American term's would continue to be in print. Call it a cookie, I want a biscuit ! Call it a pepper, I want a capsicum ! Call it cilantro...I won't eat it even if you call it coriander ! I hate the stuff !
